Just been watching footage of both corbyn&may on walkabouts in whatever area trying to muster up voters.

One thing that smacks me straight away was the serve lack of close by bodyguards .

Iam only seeing what the tv camera is filming so maybe there is armoured troop carriers parked up within earshot.

Was there not a Labour mp who got stabbed to death while on her rounds last year by a local nut job.

Don't want to point out the obvious what with today's climate ,but you can't just turn a closed eye .

I'm sure there are security people there, but they are not as visible as the ones you see in America.

The Prime Minister and other Government officials by default have access to his/her own personal security from Scotland Yard.

This is not accustom for the Leader of the Opposition, although it is sometimes extended. Generally speaking there is little protection for MPs from the police/armed forces outside of Westminster, hence why Jo Cox was killed in broad daylight in her own constituency.

The irony is Corbyn will probably be flanked by hired security from G4S, a company owned by Theresa May's husband.
