In my eyes no. With the budget we've had, we failed
Not on recent form.Today was rubbish. The only moment of quality was Coppinger's goal. The rest was dismal and if we play like that next season we'll be relegated. The problems that still underlie this team were highlighted in their full glory today. Ferguson has to fix them in the close season or he'll be back under pressure early on next year. Firstly, cohesion in defence. Secondly, a leader in midfield. Thirdly, pace in attack.I'm sorry but I'm still not convinced by McCullough and certainly not in that role. He's returning to form after a long injury lay-of - I get that - but is it a coincidence that our downturn in form has accompanied his return to the team. He confuses the central defenders, he's slow to move the play forward, taking two or three touches when one's required, and he's not the playmaker that he sometimes tries to be. With his attitude, I want the lad to succeed, I really do, but I don't think that Ferguson has got anything like the best out of him or found his best position yet.The character has gone from this side in the last few games, so to not take the title when others around us have showed greater cojones probably serves us right.
Hi jim Why do you only appear on here when we lose?
