After managing to influence the county championship last season (not allowing our England internationals play in last game) I’m surprised that Middlesex didn’t have their relegation overturned

Good thing is Yorkshire have still been Champions more times than the next 2 Surrey and Middlesex put together - largely in times when we stuck to Yorkshire born Players as well

Wolfie, for many years our second team,or a team made up of ex Yorkshire players playing for the other teams would have won the County Championship.
Even a team of the best players from the Bradford League and at times the Yorkshire League would have done well.
The great West Indies team lost its only game of one tour to a Yorkshire League team at Harrogate on one tour.
