Hound young man, Lawlor comes and makes no attempt to reach the ball either by punch or catch he simply lets Joe deal with it, he should have screamed "keepers ball", never mind bump he should have flattened him

Thats exactly how I saw it

Incredible that two supporters need stronger specs.

They're both fairly even for me, but as Marosi matures I think he'll be the better of the two. Lawlor does some crazy arsed punching at times. He can catch, and should do more often.

Lawlor is a good young keeper but I expect him to be dropped tomorrow.

It's a straightforward managerial decision; a mistake of that magnitude carries consequences.

One poster said it was a mistake that anyone could have made. No it wasn't; it was a big lapse in concentration and it cost us a goal.

If I were Marosi I'd have been in the manager's ear all week telling him how much better I was.

If Lawlor is dropped for tomorrow's game then it'll be a blow to his confidence for sure.

One of the extremely few gripes that I had on Tuesday was, after the own goal incident, one of our defenders (I can't remember who it was) had the chance to play a simple ball back to the keeper to alleviate the pressure, but instead messed about with it and we ended up conceding a throw in in a dangerous position.

The way Fergie was hugging him at the end for presumably making that save tells me Lawlor is still 1st choice, I'd be amazed if Marko starts today.
After all the mistake didn't cost us any points but that save saved us 2
