The ground would be full every week.
But lots of supporters who go now would not be able to afford to go. Plastic supporters in a plastic division. They soon stop going when they return to the lower divisions,Wigan,Blackburn,Blackpool,Sunderland,Middlesbrough, Ipswich, the lower leagues are riddled with them even Leeds have been nearer to extinction than ourselves. And the supporters of teams like Everton,Stoke,West ham, West Brom, etc. are starting to realise there is little hope of them ever going to amount to much, and flirting with relegation is more likely than ever winning a cup or league title again. Swansea and Bournemouth are nearer the top than the bottom of the pyramid, but are more likely to win the championship of the National League than the Premiership.

Would you really want to be in the Premier League? As much enjoyment can be taken from following your team whatever league they compete in.
