Presumably if the warranty is part of the price of the whole job then therefore you haven't received what you've paid for. Trading Standards might be interested but you could threaten him with small claims court for the the full cost of the job, or for having to hire someone to do the properly and give you a warranty.However, going to the supplier might get results in the short term. Either they could lean on the bloke, or possibly - if you suggest it to them - they might send someone to look at the job and issue a warranty directly themselves. They won't want to have their integrity impugned by a cowboy.

And he could still ignore it.
