There are few of my generation on here but any of you who are old enough to remember Tindill and Gregg ? I feel our Legends' Gallery is incomplete without them . Tindill played 401 games and scored 122 goals for us from 1944- 1958 . When Peter Doherty vacated the Manager's position t Rovers to take over at Bristol City his first action was to sign Bert ! I know the club is in contact with Harry Gregg who is in his late 80's and he too was an outstanding player for us and then of course a surviving hero of the Man U Munich aircrash in 1958.
My Mum certainly watched them. She loves to talk about those great players. Still enjoys watching our younger generation of players though. She unfortunately had a heart attack on 23 Dec and was in Coronary Care Unit at DRI until Friday. She's ok thankfully. Amidst all the tests being done on her she was more interested in how Rovers were getting on at Bristol!!
Just an idea, why doesn't the club ask Harry Gregg to do an interview and ask Dutch Uncle to conduct said interview. Harry lives in Portstewart, and DU is very articulate and could ask the right questions, just an idea.
