By mutual consent.

That's some wages saved.

Depends on how much we had to pay him to get him off contract, but hopefully it will free up some money for a CB

I wish him well. I think there is potentially a good goalkeeper in there somewhere, but a poor start with us set him back a lot. I hope he makes it with someone else.

Definitely a confidence issue, showed he can play well but as stated by Dutch never recovered fully from poor start

Without making us out as a Billy big b*llocks club, the step up to a bigger club with more expectation was too much for him to handle, his first media interview showed that, he was like a rabbit caught in the headlights

It can't be easy playing for Donny Rovers, in respect of some of our supporters who base their opinions of a player on his very first touch for the team. I remember poor old Shelton Martis kicking the ball out for a corner with his first kick on his debut. He was shit by default following that, and had to prove himself, even more, to get some of our supporters to change their minds! Alas, some of them never did!

I have a theory that this sort of fan attitude could also be of major detriment to the club's youth development.

Some folk can handle it, some can't, I'm sure someone of your mental strength would take it in their stride 😀

Trouble is, by the time I'd gained my mental strength I was too bloody old to play football!  :(

Seems like a decent lad. I hope he puts his spell here behind him and kicks on with his career elsewhere.

They will have probably payed half of what’s left on his contract. Is he fit?? You wouldn’t leave a club if you were injured would you, you need them for your physio and rehab.

Never recovered from the dogs abuse he got off our fans at Accrington. All the best to him.

NUNEATON ? hope he isn't "starved" of appearances 6th tier seems too far to drop especially since they are in a relegation fight - yet they beat the 2nd top team Harrogate last match  -- looks like one to haunt us in the future

Here's Dino leaving his mark on another former Rover, Tarkan Mustafa.

Bonus point if you can name the clown of a referee who let him off with a yellow.

Would that be classed as a high tackle or a very high tackle? q

Hell's Bells, that was an assault not a foul!

To be fair, he was just trying to clear his team mate, and anyway he should have been given a free kick just before, and it was against R&D. Dinoooooo!

Weird one for us that.  Seemed to be brought in as #1 but his Rovers career seemed to be over before it had really started.

Could it be nerves? Maybe, but stepping up from Accy to Donny is hardly like going to Man United. He spent a number of years at Derby so he shouldn't have had too many problems and you'd have thought he'd have had some decent coaching there.

A few early mistakes seemed to really affect him.  We'll never know whether he could've turned out to be any good because he was pretty much written off after his debut by the supporters, and not long after by the manager.

Or maybe he was just a dud signing.

Good luck to him anyway.

That has to be one of the worst I have ever seen.
Even in the 1960’s & 1970’s when, Chopper Harris, Tommy Smith, Norman Hunter, Peter Storey,
Eddie Mcreadie, Billy Bremner, Nobby Stiles Etc Etc we’re doing their worst, that assault by Dino would have been a red card all day long.
How can anyone only get a yellow for that. If he had done it on the street he would have got 3 months in HMP minimum.

Or, in the modern game, maybe not given at all by some refs if done inside the penalty area.

That's the fella. Dreadful referee. Even bad by the standards of some of those we've had recently.

Remember him at Southport away a couple of times he was dreadful sure he sent a player off each time and one of them was Dave Penney and think he sent Ian snodin off when we lost 3-2 after being 2-0 up
