Who cares?

Why reply?

People talk about players from the past all the time, its a DRFC forum. If you're not interested in the topic don't get involved.

Nice, to see him on the scoresheet. Probably find he fits in better up north just like Richard Offiong did.

He's getting rave reviews for first half performance against Rangers today. Has obviously settled in at Motherwell.

Curtis Main is an enigma.. sometimes shows bags of talent and skill (that goal vs Bristol city for example) answer other times like a little boy lost..

He had made a career in the professional game. Many thousands do not.

How. I do not know.

Makes you wonder why he can play like he gives a shit up there but never managed the same here. I always forget who it was against but that time he pretended to jump for the ball after it was already over his head will be my abiding memory of him.

Was that Bradford City ?

It was both; he scored absolute screamers against both Bradford and Bristol City.

If he had missed it I bet it would have been a hotter topic on here.
I bet you wish you could have had the opportunity he has had.

Who cares?

You put “who cares” on a post about an ex rovers player then put a post up about a motorcyclist dying that nobody knows-you’re just a weirdo!

I was at the game today and Main was outstanding, competed and challenged for everything, maybe it's a confidence thing. My last recollection of him at Donny was at Fleetwood away, he was on the bench and pretty much spent the entire second half warming up, trying to catch Fergies attention, he looked flat and looked lacking in belief, never got on in what was an extremely dull 0-0.

No matter what he was like with us, I wish him all the best in his future career.

Agreed, Curtis Main is a far better player than most on here gave him credit for.

However good or bad he is I don't think that he would improve our squad.
He was just another player we had that occasionally showed promise but never progressed. I don't think that he did enough for us to warrant any interest really.

A bit like Forrester then although in my humble opinion Forrester is a massively more gifted player.

I'd agree with you there wholeheartedly. However much talent you have though you need some commitment and application.
Look at the gifted players at Man City now and Barcelona. They are among the best in the world but work like Trojans for each other and the team.
A brilliant example to anybody that wants to do anything in football.
