As I understand it, the plan that came into operation on 1st October is that parking is limited to 4 hours and a £100 parking charge will be levied for overstays. Also, a charge of £100 will be levied for anyone not parking between the lines of their parking bay - wheel on the line and it's £100. Further, a £100 charge will be levied for anyone 'abusing the Disabled and Parent & Child bays. I also understand that anyone who goes to Bingo there has to 'register' their cars at the counter to avoid a charge as they will almost certainly exceed the 4 hour limit. The solution to this is, of course, simple - shop elsewhere.

Mate, at £40 per ding to the dent man, and possibly worse, I am very particular about how and where I park.
