BB, nobody played badly at all, a good team effort, When Wilks came on and partnered Marquis
we looked more dangerous, but you could also say it was due to Crawford getting between defenders and Taylor did as well when he decided to play with team mates after a 5 minutes of trying to do it by himself.
If you are angling for a comment on Alfie, he played well, put in a lot of effort, and contributed  to a team effort, were we and Marquis more dangerous after the substitutions yes, we had a player on the field in Wilks who could outpace, and run past defenders down the middle, and consequently gave Marquis more room, and less attention from their defenders, resulting in us scoring a couple of goals.

Talking about Marquis I have been noting the amount of times when he is competing with their CB in the air, Marquis does not win the ball. But its a different story when he gets the ball to his feet with his back to goal and he lays his pass off successfully most of the time, room for improvement I think.

Alick.Marshall and their big centre back were the pick of the Charlton side yesterday,.
In the first half we had success while running the channels wide, especially Blair, down the middle we didn't create much, and our close passing was sloppy, their central defenders stepping up and getting the ball easily in those situations in the first half.
When Crawford came on he ran through the lines, and stopped their defenders stepping up, and giving the front men more room to work in.

Selby,
I went to the Wimbledon game as well and it was the same there. For me Marquis just does not compete with CB's in the air battles. I agree about their big CB, a big lad, very strong, agile and prepared to run with the ball out of defence. I would certainly consider him a good acquisition if we lose any of our CB's in the near future.

Selby, so you say that Marquis and Wilks both benefitted from Crawford's introduction. Don't you think that May would have also benefitted from Crawford's introduction had he been kept on?

Yes BB, he might well have done, as I have already posted he played very well, personally I was surprised when the manager took both him and Rowe off who were by no means playing badly.
But it worked, well done the management team, and we ended the game well on top, and could have won by more if we had got the two calls for penalties, which I thought were nailed on.
I enjoyed every minute and well done to them all.

Not sure if this was covered ..,but why was Copps missing , had it anything to do with his disgruntled article about player contracts needing sorting out early rather than letting them drag on , or was he injured . Simples !!

Just rested, wife wanted him to look after the kids while she went Christmas shopping, she phoned Grant on Thursday and he said OK.
