I'm not saying he won't win it Hound. I'm saying it would be a bit embarrassing if he did. If our expectations are really that low that the best sportsman we have is the captain of a team that came fourth in the world. Geraint Thomas is the obvious one.
Fair dos Hound. I'd always assumed the "Personality" thing was an anachronism but yep, given that description, you're probably right.
I was most amused when Zara Phillips won it because she's posh and her mum won it many years ago. Geraint Thomas ought to win it this year although Hamilton will probably win it.
One of my pet hates in life is when people think that because it’s called Sports Personality of the Year means it’s judged on people’s personality. A personality is also a celebrity or famous person.
