I was just thinking, what is minimum we can take to the second leg. I think a draw is not a bad result. Especially as the away goals don't count double in the plays offs. Any kind of draw and we are still in it.

A home defeat and we are probably out of it. Either way this all a bonus at the end of the season and an awesome one. I never expected us to get into the play offs this season.

Even a one goal deficit is not unsurmountable. The shackles would be off for the second leg. Charlton could be found between a rock and a hard place.

Know what you mean Rob, but the playoff semis are different gravy. Away goals rule not applying, they tend to start off as cagey affairs as we saw yesterday.

As long as we arent losing by more than 2 goals I think we will be fine.

A draw keeps 2nd leg as starting as a 1 off game again. A win either way keeps both teams in it as long as it's not a huge score to overcome

I dunno, I’m guessing more chances of extra time and penalties is perceived as more exciting and makes for better telly.?

One thing that gives us hope is that we have usually got a goal in us, so don’t need to drop shoulders if we do concede first. Granted we have not necessarily put that many past the other play off teams in the league but there is hope!

All the games so far have been very tight , a 1-nil lead would be very good after the first leg to rovers, the pressure is on them

Ideally a draw or better of course. I was thinking more than two down and we'll be digging into the miracle bag, likewise for them if it's the other way around. I think they'll be affected by expectation at theirs, more so if they take a lead there. A draw or a goal either way and it's even for me.
