Rowe isn't worth an increased deal end of. Overall, he hasn't proven he is. I think it was time for him to move on anyway. He was always one under Fergie who got picked irrespective of his form, which was very inconsistent. Even when fit, he hasn't been able to walk straight back into the team.
Whatever opinion you have in Tommy the manager and club will decide. Last season GM said he wanted 6 midfield players for the central role so we have Whiteman and Crawford, to have a stronger midfield we will need 3/4 more if Blair is counted in there. So what ever Tommy is asking if we are to get better we will probably have to match it to improve and make the midfield stronger. None of the U23 orU18 players will make the midfield stronger they will need this year at least.

Quite agree, and thankfully GM does the decision making but in Tommy's case, It looks like a take or leave it and I'm not fussed either way. Yes, he has had injuries but you can't discount that.

It's all about opinions, but I see more leadership qualities and consistency in performance from Whiteman who is definitely captain material.

if we can get the player mentioned in the rumour mill then Rowe can go for me. No doubt a good player but in a midfield 3 we need consistent performers who work their socks off. Rowe would only ever be a very good impact player if we want to keep playing that way imo

Surely the player mentioned would be in the front 3?

100% I would keep Tommy Rowe if possible. I would keep him Butler and Andrew.

Rowe and Butler are in the top earners so it wouldn’t surprise me if they were offered reduced terms.

I might be wrong but thought he was more a centre/left sided midfielder than out and out winger so similar to Rowe in position

Today's article in DFP sounds promising and I'm sure we could be tempted to put names forward, but we'll leave that for the Rumour Mill.

Will obviously help if we get decisions from Andrew, Rowe and Butler to get a clearer picture of what McCann needs.
