Those of my era may remember the excitement when the Doncaster Star announced that we’d beaten off competition from several league clubs to sign highly rated midfield playmaker Hakan Hayrettin back in the 90s.

I’m not sure he ever made an appearance. In fact rumours started to circulate that he didn’t even exist. Skybet are now offering 33/1 on him being our next manager. This has to be the best one yet.

If someone request a price for a manger they add them to the list. The bookies don’t add managers willy nilly based off something they’ve seen on Twitter.

According to Wiki, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hakan_Hayrettin, he does exist! He joined us from Cambridge Utd in 1995, but never played due to injury.
His win rate in non-league is 33.3%. I’ll say no more.
