There used to be a "Remove topic" button at the bottom left of the original post but  as you say I believe its gone

I found it useful for "housekeeping" - for instanve getting rid of Super6 reminders etc or if I posted breaking "news" about something and finding someone else had done it simultaneously. Could remove easily

Would be good to have the ability to do so again
