'Young Player of the Year' at Palace last season I believe

Maybe youth team player of the year, but Wan-Bissaka would undoubtedly have been their young player of the year.

I could be wrong here but a player must be registered to play in any league organised by or in conjunction with the FA/EFL. So does the reserve league count as being organised by them? If it does he can’t play for us as a trialist if he is Currently registered for Palace. He could play as a trialist as a free agent but he can’t if he is still at Palace. If the reserve league doesn’t count as one of the leagues they have arranged then the above doesn’t matter.

Bigger question is why would Palace let him play for us as a trialist if they were planning on keeping him? He could also have asked for termination following his recent issues with lack of first team football and it be granted. We will just have to wait and see.

Is it time to move this thread to the Rumours section?

I think we are all getting ahead of ourselves with this one.
If it is Flanagan I'm amazed we've been able to bring him in on trial.
I know someone who supports Palace who thinks he should be in the first team now.
He was being tipped as a future multi-million pound player not long ago and I would put him in front of Ennis, John and Sterling who, I think, are all excellent signings.
Darren Moore clearly knows the Under 23/Development League inside out but this would be a massive coup if we were able to bring him in, even on loan.
Happy days!

Palace could cancel his contact and we sign him on a free but have a set fee or buy back agreed with palace if we sell him at the end of season.

Getting him on loan is pointless unless we send Ennis or sterling back, he won't join us unless he is promised 1st team football every match.

1. If he is a free agent from them releasing him then we wouldn't be able to give anyone a sell on or buy back.

2. Why would we send back our only 2 strikers for an attacking midfielder which we have in depth?

1. As a gesture of goodwill a contract could be drawn up.

2. Thought he was a striker.
