The last time he came to Donny it was on a scorching hot July day to open a library in Bentley.
He had a fur hat on and kept it on all the time.
He was sweating like billyo when the Mayor escorted him back to the railway station.
The Mayor couldn’t resist asking him why he had kept the hat on all day so Charles said “Mummy asked me where I was going today and i said, to Bentley. She said, Bentley, wear the fox hat?”.
