Lincoln tickets

Just seen they've been announced only 1100 allocation. Will we get given more? Having said that daylight robbery 26 quid.

My son is at Lincoln Uni but back home for Easter when this is played. I agree their prices are extortionate, £21 for an 18  to 21 ticket as well. With DNA membership we could go to 2 home games for only a £5 more than this one.

£26 is far too much to go and watch League One football in a League Two ground. For £4 more I could sit in any away end in the Premier League.

I've never been and had this pegged as a definite to go to, especially with us having no Easter Monday game this year, but that price definitely makes me reconsider.

Why pay a rival club more money to go in their ground than Rovers charge them to go in ours? Isn't that giving them a financial advantage?

£11 for a child. Are they taking the piss? I know they’ve got the £31 family offer but my 5 going will cost £73. Most grounds are £50ish and some only £40(kids go free with an adult).

All that cash for a ground that is absolutely awful.

It will sell out. 700 went to a pre season there a couple years ago.

1100 is initial allocation to leave a sterile area which they will sell if demand is there

I had this earmarked as one to go to but I'm another reconsidering at 26 quid, that's a joke for League One.

Wasn’t there supposed to be a cap based on the reciprocating price

This is also on Rovers official site.

Good move to do this.

Given how late in the season it is, it will depend on us still having a playoff chance. If we have we will sell out if not the £26 will put folk off

It's Rotherham that's been brought forward to 12.30. Lincoln is 3pm Good Friday.

Because it is on a Friday rather than Saturday I think it will be available to view on I-Follow. But please don't quote me on that!

I asked about ticket prices today as i wanted to see that Lincoln scumbag lot down at scumcil craphole get another footballing lesson and thrashing...
(we laughed our socks off at the Lincoln jokers 2-1  + 3-1.......how the ref gave a penalty in 1 match god knows? Hilarious missed penalty btw)
.......but my disabled wife and i  wont be going  .........i didnt realise we would be paying their full wage bill for the season.

Yes these prices are "beyond the pale". I havent seen that phrase for years and haven't said it since I was about 10   I dont know exactly what it means but it is so suitable for this !

Note - I just had to look it up and yes - it is totally suitable

The phrase - beyond the pale. It means an action that's regarded as outside the limits of acceptable behaviour, one that's objectionable or improper. I look upon you, sir, as a man who has placed himself beyond the pale of society, by his most audacious, disgraceful, and abominable public conduct.

However you write it these prices are a rip off - I will renew my Season Ticket today and will get 23 games for £12+ per game and yet a similar ticket for a one off Lincoln Ticket would be almost twice that

Maybe they need to restock on Batteries for their Air Raid Siren ?

I think it originated from when the English Normans took over part of Ireland. The part they ran was called the pale and the rest was beyond it.
It was a long time ago when I read about it though.
