This article is worth it's own thread I think - a look at the inner workings of government over the past couple of weeks and how some of the 'expert's turned out not to have that much expertise.

This is what happens when you say there is no such thing as society, promote rampant individualism, free market ideology, deregulation, privatisation and undermining of public services  collective responsibility and accountability whilst pursuing national, political and economic self interest.

WTF do they expect folk to do?
