Brexit isn’t important right now so who cares.

Surely it is important in the point that we need to extend the transition so leaders in Europe can focus on Covid19 and move back to it after. It's also important not to tank the economy more than we have at the moment, let's extend and get to the otherside of the pandemic and then start negotiations again.
Have to agree. There was never an economic case for Brexit. All academics agreed on this. Even the one exception, Brexit Economist Patrick Minford, withdrew his case.

I think you're dead right. Brexit is a red herring for now and the 'immigration holy grail' that it supposedly offers is no longer a priority. Our economy is up the creek and will be for a good few years. We should be asking (if not pleading) for a five year extension to the trade deal deadline.

There should be no argument about that, it would be the right thing to do.
However what I said was Brexit isn’t important right now.
It isn’t.
We have time to deal with that a bit later, it shouldn’t even be on the governments agenda just now.

Well we have to make a decision in the next couple of months whether we want to extend so that just needs to be a quick decision and then everyone on with Coronavirus.

I'm afraid there's another Govt minister deliberately deceiving folk.

https://mobile.twitter.com/trussliz/status/1245388646968168450

Odd that she chose America and Australia as examples and forgot an even bigger market.

https://mlexmarketinsight.com/insights-center/editors-picks/trade/europe/eu-to-suspend-tariffs-vat-on-medical-equipment-to-fight-covid-19

Just playing politics with CV-19. Sending out a subtle message that we are doing this and leaving the gullible to fill in the blanks and assume that the EU isn't and would have stopped us.

Utterly, utterly disgusting.

To be fair BST I wouldn't ploy her as a cleaner.
How do some of these people get the positions they end up in?
It's certainly not graft or intelligence. I can't  think of her without hearing the word cheese in my mind.
