I never won in about four or five years. I then had a purple patch and won a few pub meals and free draw entries. Then back into the barren spell. I didn’t join just to win though so anything that comes my way is a bonus.

I won £500 six months ago on a “free draw ticket “ from the previous week, but I have won a caverey for one and hair and nail voucher .
If you check it each week there seems to be one surname that crops up regularly !!!!

I've had a few £25s, a signed shirt and a couple of pub meals out of it. Which is nice to have but as others say, it's as much about supporting the academy as anything else for me. Of course I'd love to bag the top prize though!

I have given my pub meals to local Rovers supporters as it was easier than me coming over other than match days. They enjoyed them as well.

Let's hope there are pubs to go to when all this is over. To get your meals.

My wife won £500 the first week she bought an annual subscription ,just three weeks ago .
In our Conference days I won so many times I often wondered if I was the only
subscriber ! The top prizes were usually holidays I could not take and got  my elderly parents to places they would never have been able to get to .Joan Oldale  used to phone and say ...you’ll never believe this ..and I only needed to say ..what have we won this week ? Lol

Yes I had a similar "run" of incredible fortune - the highlight of course winning the £10k a few Novembers back and then amazingly getting back on the Pitch in the Final the following year - but unfortunately knocked out

Perhaps as well as I am not as young as I was and having 2 or 4 thousand people chasing me all over the pitch shouting - you lucky B - might have finished me off

Some people are lucky, some not so - I fall into the latter category so far as winning money's concerned!  I used to work with a guy who won practically every month on the Premium Bonds, I've had Premium Bonds since the very first issue and have never had a bean out of it!   :turd:

But then, luck come in many forms - not just monetary; and I guess I've been lucky in other ways - great family, great friends, a ST at Rovers; what more could one want....   Though I wouldn't turn my nose up at the occasional win

Lovely as it is to win now and again, as a new member the only reason I joined was to help the club out a bit. Winning something is just a bonus

Got to say that IS unlucky statistically in Premium Bond "lottery". I have only ever won £25 prizes but the interest easliy outstrips the pa rate I get from Santander etc - and they have put their rates to 0.6 now

You are right on the other benefits in life and I for one are pleased to share a Row with you !

I'm fairly lucky with raffles but I do tend to buy them whenever asked and usually buy a fivers worth. I won two prizes in the supporters club raffle at Christmas so that was a tenner well spent. I've also won a prize on premium bonds for the last ten months bar one. Never more than £100 worth and no single bond for more than £50. Got to end soon I think. It's the taking part that counts though and I think that when this is over there will be loads of fundraising going on.
Ps. What do you and NNK find to row about John?😉
