I wouldn't even know what is a true value these days taking everything into consideration. The point is, Coventry have obviously done their homework and have assessed what it will take for Arsenal to release him. They clearly think it's a sound investment.I wish more people would give him the credit he deserves. Playing in a key role at such a young age he's going to make mistakes, just as Whiteman did before him when developing his role. Sheaf took quite a bit of weight off Whitemans shoulders last season and at times, eclipsed his contribution. Those who say he can't pass a ball clearly don't see all the positive stuff he does. He's a good all rounder and was improving in all areas. Even his first goal was a thing of beauty! Sheaf is an excellent footballer and has great potential. Its a pity we are not in a position to shell out that sort of money, but the reality is what it is and we can't afford to take a 900k risk (if that figure is correct).even though there may be a return further down the line. I'm sure we'll see more of Sheaf in the future unlike some others who have faded away.
