Max Nicholson, anyone remember him

For some reason his name came to mind this afternoon so I googled him and one thing that comes up about him is that he was a witness in a match fixing scandal when he was playing in Australia 20 years ago

Yes, I thought that he would have a decent career with us when he started.

The match fixing scandal was in the Singapore S-League in 2000 , and it was found that Max actually played in the game where it was alleged he was paid not to .

He played in Australia 2000-02  for Wollongong Wolves

Max was in town with many other ex-players two or three years ago at a Rovers reunion at the Earl of Doncaster.
I happened to be there at the time and had a few words with him.
Not changed much and he's a good bloke.
