Improved package and 3 year deal will have been significant for him... He's 31 and that's a good bit of bit of security for him- plus it can only be an hour away from Fleetwood also......and closer to the airport. I bet Butts will know him from Scunny.

I did say it wouldn’t last. Their owner will be getting tired of bankrolling the club season after season with little prospect of the club getting to the Championship. All their big earners are disappearing off the pay roll one by one. They are a very small club punching way above their level. It can only last so long.
