Oxford winning against Lincoln

Been thinking for a while that we need to catch Lincoln to make the play-offs. This, on balance is probably the best result for us.

Win tomorrow and we are right back in the box seat.

Oxford play Sunderland and Accrington next.
Their remaining matches after that are against Gillingham, Crewe, Plymouth, Burton, Wimbledon and twice against Shrewsbury.

I believe that although it's interesting to ponder the different scenarios the future is in our own hands, and nobody else's. If we're good enough we'll do it.  if we have to rely on the failure of rivals to progress it is a sign of our own inadequacy . Other teams results are out of our hands and it is only our own results that we can influence.

If we win half ( 7 ) of our remaining games then we will have 78 points.

That will surely guarantee a play off place. Do not remember 78 ever not being enough.
5 wins and 5 draws will give us 77 points probably enough.
6 wins and 2 draws also 77 points.

Let’s be honest if we can’t achieve that in the last 14 games do we deserve to be in the top 6.

As BB says it’s in our own hands. Other teams results are pretty much irrelevant as they are totally out of our control.
It’s up to us. We are well capable. Injuries permitting I am very confident.

Let’s start with 3 points today, that would be a massive boost.
If we could beat MK Dons, Charlton and Bristol Rovers in the next 3 games & no reason why we can’t then we will be well on the way.
