Yes the score line was embarrassing, but there our mitigating circumstances - only one fit centre half, first goal a fluke which no keeper in the world would’ve stopped - because if they could they’d have been in the wrong place initially - the third was a cracking strike leaving Jones no chance back of the bar rebounded in off the his back - ironically given a bit of luck it probably should’ve been 3-2 at halftime with Hiwula and Smith missing when through - our front 3 were good Vilca and Hiwula direct and positive - Dodoo a physical presence up front - added to this Close injury - I hate losing especially to that lot but feel for Richie he came in with a plan but has been constantly fighting fires

There's no point in, and no prospect of replacing Richie right now. He went through the very rigorous procedure before he was offered the job and it's a job he has made clear he wants to be long term.

He's only been in the job two minutes, he's had to gut and rebuild the squad in a very short time.

Keep calm and carry on.

Excuses … Wellens was always going to fighting fires that’s why he was given the job with no money , key players missing and no depth of experience in the back four.  His previous attachment to the club and supporters along with his open candour and views  would see it through any rough patches but it’s a baptism of fire now . Our only hope is that ALL his bad luck isn’t down to HIS judgment and are down to circumstance beyond his control .

First half we actually played well, the front 3 linker up well and we created a lot of chances. A strange 5 mins and 3 strange goals cost us, on another day we could’ve gone into halftime 1 or 2 nil up.

2nd half was just a shambles, not attacking threat once Vilca, Dodoo and Hiwula went off and we just kept giving them the ball, mistake after mistake, Jones wasn’t strong enough from the corners either.

There were positives to take from that first half, and I think add Anderson, Dahlberg, Knoyle and Galbraith into the team plus Fej and taylor to the squad when back and we will be fine, think we just need a scrappy goal or a scrappy win and our luck and form will change. If it’s still the same after 10-12 games into the season then I might start to get worried.

Jazz blues fusion with a hippy vibe…..interesting and piqued my curiosity on the Vinyl front!

More Folk-Blues I would say, Jazz less so. Loved them when I was at Uni. The only even slightly famous thing they did was Light Flight which was used as the theme tune for the old TV series 'Take Three Girls'. However I did recently hear The Blues Run the Game (which they covered) as a recurring tune on the American TV series 'This is Us'.
