We definitely shouldn't have lost that game.  How good we were back then.

Lol beat me to it. I was gonna say I just got my breath back

Honestly though I was shattered when me and mate reached top floor

He said "fancy a coffee" I said yes please. I was doubled up panting like hell at the table where people go to put sugar in drinks and stir them

A lady approached and looked at the panting wreck before her eyes

I looked up and said "God I'm never coming here again ' and she replied " I know £2.50 a cup of coffee"

I said I wasn't talking about the coffee

To bring the tone of the thread down, the only time I've been for a shit at a football match. Was just finishing when I heard the unmistakable sound of "habbbbaaaallllll? yehhhhh!" and seconds later felt my phone vibrating around my ankles as my mate was trying to update me. Quickly* made it back to the opening to the seats to see the ball whizz towards me. Felt robbed against them and West Brom in both games that season. We were the better side in all games but lost out to teams whose better players edged it. The movement on that opening goal was something else.

In 2018 I went to see Ed Sheeran there and broke out in a cold sweat when I realised I was a few rows below where I was then.

*yes I still washed my hands.

She was probably with someone who couldn't have gone without her. Making sure they enjoyed the day.

no sharp didn’t go off until later on, I’m pretty sure he actually won the penalty.

Think woods scored one a few weeks before against Scunny when sharp was also on the pitch so that’s probs why he took that one but then after the newcastle game sharp was the designated penalty taker.

Funnily enough, small sample size notwithstanding, Martin Woods has a better career success rate with penalties than Sharp (86% success rate vs 79%).

Billy sharp has scored 33 out of 42 in his career (7 out of 8 for donny)

Martin woods scored 6 out of 7 (2 out of 3 for donny).
