RIP Lionel Blair

A great entertainer.

One by one familiar faces of the past are stepping aside. I wasn't a great fan or anything but he was always on TV in my youth. Full of enthusiasm and good humour. I think he was one of the good ones.

I hardly know who anyone is on telly nowadays. I feel like i've landed on another planet.

Sad news indeed, always a great entertainer. I bet he would have had a laugh at this

He's featured on the annual Christmas video of Chris Rea's "Driving home for Christmas", doing a tap dance with Martin Shaw.

Not my bag but a staple feature of TV when i was growing up in the 80's / 90's. Always a smile, enthusiastic and you could tell that he loved the entertainments business. Hopefully he won't be exposed as kiddie fiddler in 10 years time but i'm 100% sure that won't happen. I doubt everyone these days from those eras when i was growing up which is sad.

Seemed a really nice fella anyway and for once i have nothing negative or bad to say about another human being which is a rarity. Unless he wasn't a vegetarian or liked boxing or rap music.

RIP Lionel.
