There are some unbelievable replies on this thread from posters making themselves look really dim.

If some aren’t aware football is a business and it needs to be run in a professional business manner to prosper and exist, do you really believe that a businessman who started from nothing does not know and understand this.

Im aware  that some will say that the chairman does not give a hoot about football and is doing this for altruistic reasons only, I’ll tell you what he does know and understand, money.

Why would anyone think that this type of individual would enter into running a club without ensuring that he had all his ducks in a row? Let me reassure you, TB knows exactly what he is doing and the strategy behind his reasoning will be fine tuned and proven. Bearing this in mind and how we all perceive the club management and players to be performing I would wager that a plan will be in place to sort out the short, medium and long term.

We don’t have any rights to be the best team in the league or win every match but people will be working hard to try to ensure we get to as close to that position as possible, not just for their sakes but for all our so called supporters also.

Ungrateful doesn’t  come into it, entitled and demanding may be closer.

You pay your money and you make your choice. Some will not be missed.

I have questioned the boards intentions for a few years now and got usual thrown back " they invest millions each year" Now overnight we are self sufficient ?

I questioned starting this season with a limited squad, why wait till January, when we could be all but down by then ?

All the hard work from 1998 is being undone, I understand  we wont be investing nearly the same amount of money, but at least give us a fighting chance.

Football is like no other business where you buy and expect a profit.

Left at half time today. There was absolutely no way we were ever making their keeper do anything, let alone score. The cold was just too bitter to put up with and just couldn't stomach being sat there watching absolute tripe for another 45 minutes.

We were singing we want our money back after just 25 minutes.

Highlight of the afternoon was watching the pigeon on the pitch as play was going on, merrily pecking away without a care in the world. Wish we didn't have a care in the world. What we do have is a manager that cannot motivate players, is tactically inept and who is taking us down.

All we do is pass backwards and across the middle and it looks nice. By pass the midfield and get balls and men into the f**king area Wellens!!

At one point we had a corner and the ball actually ended up with Dahlberg after a succession of back passes!! Smith is scared to go at people and just backtracks the ball all the time when we need players to f**king stand up, take risks and be counted.

Anderson did well first half. The rest appalling. Hiwula is a waste of a shirt. Lazy get. Comes back into the side and does nothing.

Just don't know where to start with what i saw for the first 45. Got back home at 5 andd saw we'd lost two nil with one shot at goal which wasn't a surprise. Can't comment on the second half as didn't see it but obviously nothing improved.

Unbelievable support today from our fans, some elderly who i have literally no idea how they managed to sit through nearly 2 hours in that bitter cold. They deserve a refund and an apology.

Utterly disgraceful today and it is getting worse away from home. Those who think that once one or two players come back we'll pick up are deluded.

And another thing. Burton are absolute shit. We're screwed unless we maintain top 6 home form for the rest of the season.

Correct…..we are screwed, and it feels like a new era is about to begin…..

In the last interview on Radio Sheffield Gavin said Club Doncaster were self sufficient they were not expecting the owners to put money into the club. In fact the plan was club Doncaster would hopefully make a profit this year and would allow more to be put in the budget to give a top half league 1 budget. That situation may have changed  or changing but putting millions in the club now is a exaggeration.

Is the supporters put a lot in as well. We don’t have millions but we give what we have for games, merchandise etc. it shouldn’t be underestimated the part the fans play in keeping things afloat. The club is nothing without the fans.
