Tory MP Marcus Fysh

In one interview.

1) Says that vaccine passports are like Nazi Germany and should be resisted at all costs because we are a freedom loving country.

2) Tells the interviewer that people who disagree with his take are not worthy of working at the BBC.

See. This is the thing you tend to find about people who prize "freedom" above all else. What it usually means is "freedom to do what *I* want and to have MY opinions, not freedom to do what YOU want and have YOUR opinions."

I wonder if he's even intelligent enough to understand the paradox in what he said.

You mean like pro vaccine zealots you mean?

Want to have their vaccine and then want everyone else to have their vaccine too?

Yes, i see what you mean.

So some Tory MP's are against Covid passports because 'We are not a country that accepts having to show our papers' and that 'Vaccination Passports would compare us to Nazi Germany'!

But the same Tories are supporting....

Voting Passports (ID Cards/Docs) because "We need to show our papers to prove we are eligible to vote".
Banning all protests
Disenfranchising millions of voters
Removing citizenship arbitrarily
Quashing judicial review
Government control of the Electoral Commission
Removing human rights

We are walking blindly into a dystopian nightmare, and most Tory wets can't even see it!

If the Unclown doesn't get his Vaccine passport through, you can expect pubs, clubs, restaurants, Public Transport and anywhere folk gather in numbers to be shut again as part of another lockdown.

Unless omicron urns out to less virulent that delta, I am afraid we will see that anyway. It's far too late for the measures they are proposing today to be effective, they needed to have been in three weeks ago.

Yes but none of these are as important as my freedom being restricted by being required to wear a mask when I go shopping, are they NNK?

We have vaccines to negate the need for mask wearing during shopping. This is what the vaccines were supposed to be for but now aren't apparently. So everyone now needs about 4000 jabs but still has to wear masks and put up with further nonsense restrictions.

Slight exaggeration there CDH in your exasperation, but vaccines aren’t there to stop us wearing masks, they’re there to help us reduce the potential for getting seriously ill or dying.

Masks are a support strategy towards the above.

Cheers
