Michael Appleton Lincoln City
So if Appleton is sacked this weekend should our board interview him for our job.Or does anyone think he should be our no 1 choice? It’s not long ago many people on this forum wanted him when we appointed DM.
Next to be sacked will be our yet to be appointed next manager if some of our impatient fans get their way.
I hope they don’t sack him either, because the time the boards taking he could come into consideration for us!.

Jonathan am I right that you think RW should not have been sacked. If so I find that quite surprising. He simply had to go. He had lost the players. The body language of the players in last 2 games at Burton and Crewe said to all and sundry they had completely gone. He had to go imo. You can see the differences since GM has taken charge. Yes we only won 1 out of 3 but the players look far more confident and less scared of making a blunder. We had to have a new voice on the training ground and in the dressing room. Sure Frank Sinclair with his enthusiasm will have been a very positive influence also.
If it is evans let’s hope our interview process is over.

The board know that would go down like a lead balloon. We would be lucky to attract 1000 season ticket holders next season. Plus there would be no pies to sell to the public and catering revenue would be also be blown 80%
