If so I find that quite surprising.

He simply had to go. He had lost the players. The body language of the players in last 2 games at Burton and Crewe said to all and sundry they had completely gone.
He had to go imo.
You can see the differences since GM has taken charge. Yes we only won 1 out of 3 but the players look far more confident and less scared of making a blunder.
We had to have a new voice on the training ground and in the dressing room.
Sure Frank Sinclair with his enthusiasm will have been a very positive influence also.

I’m never really for sacking managers, especially when they’ve only had five months in very difficult circumstances. I understand why they did it, but it wasn’t something I was calling for. Now McSheffrey is in charge I’m right behind him.
