I can remember an interview with Bobby Charlton at his peak. He spoke about his freekick practice of hanging a dustbin lid at the corner of a goalpost and trying to hit it from 30 yards.

I saw a documentary about Rob Andrew where he spent hours every day practising his goal kicks.

Golfers practice their putting for hours on end.

I wonder how much time our strikers practice their finishing?

Apologies for turning this thread into a serious one however.... do we think the lack of goals is soley the strikers fault? I tend to think i read a game of football quite well but, we dont create chances, ever? So for that, do the arrows in that video need to actually point towards the striker rather than the goal? Its a tough one because i think every forward player at the club arent good enough but the service and the ceative players need to do better and get into positions in order to do that.

Stocks, the two things go together.
Strikers have to anticipate well and make the right runs.
The “assisters” have to anticipate the runs and play the right balls.
Of course we all know this and the players do too.
It just isn’t working out for them.
Probably due to an overall lack of quality in both departments.
