''Roy Morton woke up to armed police raiding his home in Cricklewood, north London, last month.

The 80-year-old said he was Tasered, held to the ground and arrested by officers who told him they were looking for a suspect.

The Metropolitan Police has apologised and referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

Obviously they were looking for an 80 year old retired dancer, simple mistake

Ah. Britain's finest constabulary.

No doubt they filmed the incident on their mobiles so that they could share it with their colleagues and laugh about it in the staff canteen later on.

On the topic of police. A copper in a riot van told me off outside car park 3 yesterday for slowly mounting the kerb in my car, ensuring no pedestrians were around, so that i could navigate my way around a prick in a range rover who was blocking the road.

What a hero.
