I saw her show at Sheffield Arena a few years back.
Brilliant.

Was that 1996 hound? I was there at Sheffield for her birthday on November 26th, the same day as my first wife’s. She was brilliant and John Miles was on lead guitar.

A great night. I went with my wife even though we had just split up after 25 years as I bought tickets months before.

One of the best things to happen to me when she left, sad to say.
Unlike her my second wife has never been to a Rovers game but is a far better human being.

I was always fascinated by how her career was salvaged by Heaven 17.
She was on the scrapheap in 83, before the BEF arranged that exquisite cover of Let's Stay Together. I wonder where she'd have ended up without a bit of help from South Yorkshire?
