Injured players
« on February 19, 2022, 11:35:16 pm by Donny Exile in York »
Have they just gone on strike? Its not like they have cruciate problems or broken legs... wtf is going on? Are they covering an insurance payout to the club or something? Its madness.. Okenabirhie out 9 months, John out 6 months, Close out 4 months, Bostock out 4 months, Anderson out 2 months, Taylor out really for 9 months.. are they on some kind of gardening leave cos their injuries have been spurious to say the least..  absolutely ridiculous.. I've never known anything like it in terms of lack of severity of injury, lack of updates and spurious reasons.. Taylor with a trapped nerve on his bum cheek. I'd believe scurvy or black plague more likely.. come on..

What price on Okenabirhie and /or John joining Moore and been suddenly fit next season or Close going back down south homesick..

Its easy to forget how many half decent players we have on long term injury,it must be crippling to the wage bill and I for one am grateful the board/TB have given us a decent recruitment in the Jan window despite this.

I think I would believe some of the spurious long term injuries more if they were made to spend three weeks living on  the school maggot as per Michael Palin's Ripping Yarns . if anyone remembers that from years ago
.. but joking aside i have never known anything like our injury list or the vague reasons for the length of time out... madness

Since his outburst on Twitter it appears Taylor no longer attends home matches.

It's not just the financial aspect either. Someone on a topic a while ago posted a list of long term injuries and at least two thirds of them would generally be expected to be first names on the team sheet. Add that to everything else that's gone on this season and it's not really surprising that we are where we are

And yet pre match yesterday all Dee Dah could talk about was the crippling injury list Wednesday have at the moment.
On another point the word impartial cannot be levelled at whoever was taking the calls on P or G, he was creaming himself talking about Wednesday with the Owls fans ringing in

Mcsheffrey needs to be coming out and saying what’s going on with them all
It’s ridiculous

Stealing a living that lad. Fair play to his agent though getting a player in decline a 3 year deal
