One of my favourite bits was when he was asked "if you were offered Messi & Ronaldo and could only take one, who would you take?" and without hesitation he replied "Lee Tomlin"!!

Interesting hearing the variety of players they're talking to. Wonder who the lad from Liverpool was they were talking about on loan. He was right though - much prefer having a signing than a loan.

Only bit that made me wince was when he said Tommy Rowe is probably the best left back in League 2 - but he was probably just saying that to big him up than genuinely believes it.

It's a funny old game, after relegation most wanted him to get the tin tack and start again with someone new me included.Roll on a few months and what's so far being perceived to be decent summer recruitment, a few good pre season games and a good interview and peoples perceptions have changed.

I agree he spoke very well but i'm still unsure he's the man for the job, I look back at some of the tactically inept decisions he kept making last year and while i'm more than happy to give his chance with this team I can only hope he's learned from that and with a new assistant to help him maybe he has.

The proof will be in the pudding..

I said from the start. McSheffrey is an intelligent fella. He was an intelligent player and is converting that into coaching and management.

From the point he took a little time to think about the managers job, to going for it, he knew he didn't have all the tools and needed support around him to accelerate his learning. Part of that learning is making mistakes and constantly reassessing.

The guy has self belief not necessarily self confidence but that is growing day by day. He's a quick learner.

We were and still are desperate for some continuity and give time for GM to develop just as Warne did at Rotherham. He has a vision and a belief in how the game should be played and the type of players needed to help him achieve that. He simply didn't have all the tools he needed last season.

With having Copps of similar football and life beliefs keeping each other focused and looking at the bigger picture, together with Eyre, the task master/coach on the training ground, I think it won't be long before we're comparing them to O'Driscoll.and O'Kelly.

Liked the reference to our league two stay being viewed as a ‘Pitt stop’.

Buzzing for Bradford now, let’s get off with a big win.

Its strange but great to feel the club is finally coming together again - I am now getting concerned for the moaners, what will they do with all this positivity. I think catering and chip-gate may be seen on a few posts.

Has anyone checked on 1969

Let's be fair, he's not alone although the others are more conspicuous in their absence than he.

He's probably thinking it all counts for nothing so far, as we haven't kicked a ball in anger yet. In that sense he'd be right.

That is true DBR, however, I am not bothered if we don’t win the league, I just want my team to look like they know what they are doing, have a chance of winning, and mostly compete!
I have watched the last two games, and we look light years away from the last two embarrassing seasons. Nothing to do with results, as nice as they were, it is the performances.

The last two performances - if that is how we play this season, would have been more than enough to keep us in the league above. League 2 is tough though, and there is some decent sides that all think they can go up. We will be up there.

My favourite bit was “I’ve become a bit of a vegetarian these past few years. Favourite meal?… Sea bass”
