Eco - stadium MOZZY INFESTATION
« on September 28, 2022, 10:13:33 pm by LincolnDonny »
This is sort of football related in as much as i am talkiing about the Stadium

Has anyone else notice the INFESTATION of Mosquitoes in the toilets.

i have noticed them in the male toilets and also the disabled toilets on the West Stand  (south stand end )
I actually noticed them a year before but it has got a bit bad now.
I feel that probably exterminators need to be brought in and all water areas checked properly where requiered not just in those 2 areas but possibly all over to rectify any potential hazards that those pests can pass on.

The whole stadium needs a proper clean so it's no surprise.  The family area is really quite dirty. If I took the kids to any other facility like that I wouldn't return.

I do make my thoughts known about things like these with the matchday survey that the club send out but we all now know that the matchday survey is the club virtue signalling. Making it look like they are listening to fans and to fans complaints and suggestions when clearly they aren't as nothing ever improves.

I just delete those emails now as they are a total waste of time. I go the Rovers to watch the footy now and don't expect anything else from the club as they no longer have any standards IMO.

It seems the club exploits the supporters whose loyalty takes precedence over any of its failings.

There was no soap in any of the dispensers (this at 14.15) on the West Stand concourse toilets.

Indeed. We have amongst the best facilities in the lower leagues but no standards or proper upkeep. May as well be like Barrow in that regard. I'm sure even Barrow make better use of the restricted facilities they have than Rovers do.

It does make you wonder; if these are the standards considered by the club to be good enough for its clientele (and these are customer-facing), what standards have become acceptable behind the scenes?

Hey no worries LincolnDonny.

I mentioned daddylonglegs as i was under the assumption that there were no mosquitos in the UK but i've just checked now and apparently there are over 30 species of mosquito in the UK so apologies for that and my facetious comment.

After all that, i wouldn't like to come across one of these blighters in the bogs that's for sure!
