Adam Clayton was a great guy and a very good senior team member, he used his experience and leadership traits well, and that will be the benefit to Bradford, he will give them what they “may" need in the dressing room.

If they are looking at energy then unfortunately for them and Adam, his legs have gone, at his prime he was far too good for this level. Listening to him, his mind has not caught up with the fact just yet. It’s sad in a way to watch someone who is clearly passionate about the game and playing, but his body just can’t do it.

I wish him all the best, he never let us down, and as others have said, was a great pro.

Great Post, spot on.

A man of principal, what a pity that we all can’t follow his example
Good luck mate a pity that the game isn’t reinforced with more like you. The previous post was spot on.

Bradford fans raving about how well he has done for them, shame he didn’t seem to fit in the way we played

Yes looking at the games he’s played 4 games and played 90 mins in each. 2 wins and 2 draws against 3 tams above Bradford and 1 just below. He’s played looking at formation middle of a midfield 3 with a 4th midfield player in front of them and 2 strikers 4312 diamond ?

He didn’t fit the system that DS wanted to play midfield legs and only 2 central. To get the type of player he wanted then Clayton left I utilising his wages for Lakin loan.

He’s doing great there according to bradford fans and I’m glad. Unfortunately he didn’t fit the system under DS and it was the right move for all parties.

As long as he has a shocker on 25th Feb, I'm pleased for him!
