I don’t agree.  He was obviously injured early on, but played on and was the only one who was willing to put the ball into the box.

Seaman was way better when he took overfrom Brown, nearly scored as soon as Seaman went into his position!

I can see 100% why Knoyle was preferred to Brown by Stockport.

I’m glad he’s just on loan. Not one we should be signing. Seemed good at first but no thanks.

Most of us can see why Knoyle would rather be at Stockport too.

Seaman is the new Tommy Rowe, doing a decent job in several positions.

I thought Brown was decent when he first came but seems to have found the level of his fellow team mates. Seaman did okay on the right, he wasn't great on the left but hard to play there when you're left foot is best just used for standing on!

Have to take you to task on that Beast, Seaman has a decent left foot.

Still shocked Copps presented stats showing Brown as far superior to Knoyle. Incredible stuff.

The stats were probably correct at the time, I think they would be pretty shocking now though. He has regressed massively, as much as I don’t like players getting injured I wasn’t upset when he went off

I made this point on another thread that people speaking about Schofield say he's a great football coach.  What evidence is there to support that?  I've seen none since he's been here to say he has any idea about coaching.  Brown is just one of many examples to show he's actually ruining our players.

It’s too short a time to pin all this on Schofield but it is true that for the last two seasons we have totally failed to improve anyone who has joined us. Knoyle was seemingly in demand not least as his deal was winding down, but we signed a player who I think was in League Two team of season yet in his time with us was largely average. Even obvious bright sparks like Hurst have been worn down quickly by exposure to our training, structure and tactics.
