Bizarre that he needed an inquiry to point out to him how untenable his position was.
Big job for Sunak now. The last few Tory PMs have blatantly packed the BBC top management with senior Tory party officials or funders. Has Sunak got the principles to stop this and rebalance the BBC management?

Lets see if Sunak makes the appointment non-political.
Transparent process not involving the government of the day.
Labour could say that they would do that in office!
