I would take off Tommy, JT and Ironside if they don’t improve second half

I think it will be Taylor coming off at 60, Sotona on at that point. Maybe Roe off and Biggins on if things haven't improved in midfield.

For all the talk pre-season there has been little use of the wings so far.

Omg Taylor should have scored. So much time and no pace on the shot. Keeper out of contention

Taylor waited an eternity there instead of hitting the ball first time. Should have been a certain goal that.

Should be one up. Keep up the movement and more will come.

25-30 minutes left, plenty of time if Rovers pull their fingers out.

DOUBLE SUBSTITUTION
And it's two debutants entering play for Rovers.
OFF
Tommy Rowe, Jon Taylor
ON
Tyler Roberts, Deji Sotona.

I'm only watching the BBC text commentary, but this is painful.

Whatever the final score, this is so much better than last season in terms of effort, endeavour, energy and commitment.

As they were shaping up they could have given them another 45 minutes and still they wouldn't have scored. More work to come GM.

I would like to see Sotona and Roberts starting home games in the hope we can get a goal or two ahead instead of bringing them on when chasing the game. We were transformed when those two came on.

Enjoyed the second half but worrying lack of quality and guile going forward. Never a penalty- the clue should have been that no one even appealed but they deserved the win- their 9 and 12 were a class above anything we had

Better football but sadly same result. Grant must have said something to the ref at full time as I noticed he was shown the yellow card with a flourish by the ref. Possibly something to do with the poor decision for the penalty.
Onwards and upwards
