Didn't realise he was still playing, thought he was coaching full time as I understand he's making a decent name for himself as a coach. Good for him, always liked Sam.

Yeah I think he was coaching full-time, always like Sam as well, Donny lad to, great signing for Rosso!

Not sure, wasn't he playing there! Think he was involved with Bolton reserves?

He was assistant manager or first team coach at Bolton but left to take on a PFA role last season.

I remember one game at home in the Championship, when one of the opponents players went down with cram, the game was in full swing and Rovers were attacking, Sam decided he would help the player, tge fans and bench we’re going crazy with him. It was a great laugh
