My fave goals for Rovers come to mind so vividly. I must have really enjoyed them at the time. Weird how everyone remembers stuff differently.
Cramby, obviously, scored 2 of my faves. Long range lob at Scunny and away at Stockport in the cup.
Graeme Lee last minute thunderbolt at Scunny. Playing against Fozzy, who he’d just replaced.
Jamie Lawrence far post scissor kick at home but I forget who against.
Duerdens goal against (Eastleigh?) in the conference cup jobby.

ah yes Farnborough. That was a good night that. Regardless of how shit that competition was. First bit of joy we’d had for a long long time. Could argue it was the start of things to follow.

Easy for me - 19th December 1998 the 5-4 comeback win from 3-0 down to 3-3 then 3-4 v Dover when Glenn Kirkwood cracked in the winner with a bullet into the top corner of the Rosso End after being fed in by Dino's backheel deep into the match. 2119 present and the old pop side was shaking I kid you not when it went in.

What a goal & comeback, when it hit the back of the net my mate ran down almost the whole length of the popside!

That over head kick Tommy Gaynor scored was against Darlington at Darlington.Yes it was a cracker.Brian Clough signed him not long after.

I was at both those games, and both goals were absolute belters..

Too many really to try and remember a favourite, and probably loads of great ones I’ve forgotten, but I clearly remember Hugh Dowd scoring with a header from just inside the D being quite special..
