Invitation to watch the players train
« on July 18, 2023, 09:53:14 am by Chris the Rover »
Has anyone else had an email about this? It’s on Thursday 27th at the stadium, followed by food and an opportunity to meet the players and staff. No charge, but need to request a ticket.

I got one, but I'm on holiday on that date.

I didn't know I was a member of the experience club either!

Got one too.

I’m very experienced in a 150 mile round trip the second half of which I have done so utterly depressed for the last 2+ seasons.

Got my mojo back now though.

It’s a great scheme by the club. These ‘events’ are what helps reunites the supporters with players & management. Brilliant.

I believe the Experience Club is those people who never took a refund of their season tickets in the COVID year, and instead made the money a donation to the club. The club have introduced some events to say thank you.
I think...but I may be wrong.

I got E Mail.
Also did not know I was a member.
Weather permitting I will be at the Cricket in Scarborough watching Yorks v Durham.
It is a great gesture from the Club though and appreciate being asked.

Exactly as Northants explains - I think you can buy a membership for £150 (?) but most a a way of thanking fans for not getting money back in/after covid. The meet the coaches was one too

I heard they were only giving out invitations to the good-looking fans among us. If that's the case I'm dead against such discrimination and as a protest, I'm gonna donate my ticket to Scawsby Steve.

Absolutely. When I sent the photo in of the head shot, the girl in the ticket office had to double check that the name wasn't Arthur Mullard.

That’s my understanding as well northants - shame I have to work, would have enjoyed that, and two days before my birthday, I might have got a cake thrown in!  :woot:

I donated the money back and haven't received an invitation. Wolfie and Selby, no comments please.

I went to this today.  Thoroughly enjoyed it.    Sat with Owen Bailey and Luke Molyneux over lunch and was very impressed with both of them.   They both seemed to be really enjoying the new regime and can't wait for the season to start.
I know you can say that they should be very positive at this time of year but there genuinely seems to be a very positive vibe in the camp.  I am really looking forward to Harrogate a week on Saturday now.

Hi CSR, that means you were on my table! I was with my brother. As you say, a thoroughly enjoyable day and especially the chat we had with Owen Bailey and Luke Molyneux over lunch. Very fine young men both of them, and clearly buzzing for the season ahead.
A great gesture by the club today.

Hi Pancho.  It was good to meet you today and let's hope our optimism is well founded !!
