Quite unbelievable dishonesty from Sunak and the Tories yesterday - on a par with Johnson at his worst.  They just claimed to have stopped a tax on meat and dairy - and flying, prevented us all being forced to car share and use seven diff bins for recycling.  None of this existed.  I’ve just seen a Tory e-mail listing these fictional things Sunak just saved us all from.  Incredible.

Here in Hounslow we already have seven bins for recycling, only two are the large ones for general waste and gardening waste, plus a static one you can choose for in the garden for composting. Three lidless box containers for different waste, and a smaller one with a lid for cooked food waste. I bet Sunak doesn’t do the bins and thinks they’re all large ones.

Sunak is saying all these things were proposals, most of which came from the Climate Change Committee, and that the CCC proposals tend to become government policy. So he used a bit of rhetoric (lies) to make his point and to try and appear a man of the people 

I wonder what Starmer will say? Probably nothing?
