£230 a day for a taxi to take one person less than 2 miles. Absolute numpties working for councils, as well as jobs and contracts for the boys, and that's where your council tax goes  :headbang:

This reminds me of a story my ex neighbour told me, he
Was a retired bank manager and still worked for a Charity in Sheffield that worked with A4E and the like, he had a monthly meeting with 6 Managers from departments at Sheffield city council, this particular day he went to the meeting and the main manager wasn’t in the meeting, the other 5 decided to cancel and re schedule for the following month, he was perplexed and the next day contacted the missing manager and asked them what was going off, the reply was that the other 5 were intimidated by him!
He was a bit surprised they felt intimidated, he was earning 37k and they were all earning 90k , that’s how councils spend our money!
