And yet councils, eg Plymouth of recent, and developers get away with exactly the same action. Not only that but many mnay more trees can be planted within our towns and cities, Yes, that tree was in an amazing situation but personally I'd prefer to see trees in places where you'll pass by them every day.

It is terrible, but there's far far more important bad things going on that aren't being reported.

Its not just the felling of the tree that has people raging, its the implication of a mindset amongst some people today that would even contemplate this type of thing in the first place.

People are rightly concerned of the culture of today that turns some into feral headcases who's only skill in life is to navigate a mobile device and have shit for brains.
I think the mentality that eg creates and reinforces poverty that we have in our government is light years worse, but hey lets get focused on this
Imagine a fourth tier football teams fans forum not focusing universally on the most fundamental societal issues. Outrageous.

Would this be the same poverty that's existed for centuries and under all colours of political persuasion?

But yeah, you crack on with your phoney class war, even your buddy Starmer is prepping the ground to kick you in the nuts. I'm sure when the time comes we will all be subject to some really interesting debate coming from your direction when you realise this.

Couldn't have said it better. It's the kind of wanton moronic action that further confirms we as a generation are failing on so many counts in educating the next generations and the values they hold.

Starmer my buddy? Right....

I take from the above that you know your place, and think everyone else should know theirs including those abused and used. Nice values.

BRR's buddy Starmer!!! Are you new here!!

No it's not the same poverty that has existed for decades actually. It is the poverty that has emereged under this Tory government - along with a massive rise in wealth for the very richest in this country.

In the sense that this bore would not accept any major party and their leader to be in power then yes, Starmer is his nearest hope. Unless he's the pinning his hopes on his pal Putin making a big dint on global warming!

So in your microcosm of a world, poverty is the sole responsibility of this government, give your head a shake mate.

Its existed before and will do so after Starmer has been and gone, would Starmer not also be responsible for the mega rich increasing their wealth?
