Nothing Louis could do about that.

That chance at the end - stronger in the air like we saw v Newport and a brilliant save after the ball was fired through a crowded area.

The goal was Rowe’s fault, completely out of position.

Huge slice of luck with that Hurst penalty!

The pass from Matt Smith for the goal was excellent

I agree. Louis not at fault with the goal. We have a good keeper that can become a great keeper. He is a young lad. His overall game has improved a lot. Keep it up Louis. The more he plays the better he will get.
It has t helped him not having a settled back line esp centre halves. This might help with McGrath in now.
Let’s support the lad. Could be a golden nugget in a couple of years. I would have him over lawlor.

Bailey’s header was a classic Warboys header. Superb.

What short highlights and they cut out a lot of the good work from Rovers yet showed all Wigans best bits.

Bailey’s header was a classic Warboys header. Superb.

Looked to be slightly behind him so even better that he managed to get that much power on it.  Great effort by the team and well deserved win.

Is that the first time Molyneux has took on his full back, got to the byline and put a decent cross in with his right foot?

If there’s been another one, I don’t remember it. Great header by Bailey.

No mate, he has done it several times this season alone.

It looks like they are the Wigan youtube highlights Steve.
It even says Doncaster Rovers v Latics when you open the link.

Yes it was an old fashioned centre forwards header….. Malcolm McDonald came to my mind when I saw it.

Bailey is excellent in defence or midfield - or even perhaps our new striker!

You could play Owen Bailey in any position & he’d give a good account of himself. He’s a belting little footballer.

With all these highlights it is down to who does the edit.
You often watch a game and then see the chosen highlights later and think what was that.

All has to be boiled down into a 2 minute package, unless a club later puts up an extended version which gives a fuller picture.

They're the highlights put together by the EFL aren't they? Hence the same on both club's channels.

For those who have a recording of the full game, I recommend you listen to the Wigan commentators throughout the second half. It is rare to hear such praise of Rovers even from our own.

Yes, they are.
The clubs must just put their own titles on them as ours says Rovers v Wigan.
Odd that they didn’t show more of the good stuff that we did in the second half.
