Did he end up with a club? I thought he was going to sign for Portsmouth or Charlton but still think he's without a club. Makes you wonder what talent is unsigned out there.

Seems to be without a club.
Pre-injury Sims would fit Wellens style for the front 3, but doubt 10% of his wages would fit our budget...

This lad was a top, top player until he got injured. Now turning out for Ross County and still looks to be struggling. 18 appearances this season and only made 90 minutes on 3 occasions, back in July and August. Not sure what responsibility we had for his injury but he was performing at the very top of League One and could have easily got a Championship contract.

are you saying the medical staff at his time at the club have some culpability for his ongoing injury problems?

When he went back to Southampton he got COVID. He had a particularly bad bout of it which has left him with a bowel condition and heart problems. I read an interview he did a while ago.
